The project
I worked with newly-freelance music educator Davina Shore to realise her new brand and launch her business into a lovely market.
Using brand strategy exercises and a well thought out purpose statement, we landed on the importance of Davina’s values as a teacher, which are key to why parents, schools and children alike love to work with her.
Steering away from the typical identity style of educational organisations, I created a fresh, bright and playful brand which centres on the idea of building and developing children’s musical skills through creativity and exploration. Simple values-based symbols, lively illustrations and a modern colour palette work together to create a unique look and feel. I designed and built Davina’s new squarespace website and worked with her to roll-out the brand ready for launch in summer 2021.
